Which heating or cooling method is used for the chemical mixing tank

For chemical mixing tanks, different heating methods are used, and the mixing effect is different. There are jacketed, inner and outer coils for the current heating or cooling of chemical mixing tanks. Which one is better, mainly depends on the heat exchange area.


The jacket heating of the chemical mixing tank is relatively safe, and the contaminant material is not prone to cracking after the jacket is cracked. In the outer coil heating mode, the outer coil is welded to the outer surface of the inner cylinder, which invisibly increases the strength of the inner cylinder. Without considering the corrosion margin, the inner cylinder wall thickness can be reduced to achieve the purpose of reducing the cost. However, the outer coil has a small heat exchange area and can be used in the case where heating (cooling) is not required. Moreover, the outer coil needs to be welded on both sides, and the processing workload is relatively large.
