What is the difference between an open reactor and a closed reactor

1. Open type butt welding flange type reaction kettle: The open type reaction kettle is connected with the top head and the tank body by clips. Its application scope is wide, the pressure is generally relatively low (below 4.0mpa), and the volume is generally below 1000L. This structure is based on the low pressure in the use of open flat cap type reactor relatively high price and design of a type. It has the advantages of convenient open maintenance and disassembly and disadvantages of a long period of time.


2. Open type flat cover type reactor: Open type flat cover structure has two types of flat cover end flange type and reverse cover flange type. The design is basically the same, but the flat cover reverse flange is cheaper than the flat cover end flange in price. It is applicable to the working conditions of some chemical products that require high pressure (5.0-35mpa) in the production process, with no great limit on temperature and small volume (below 1000L). The open structure is convenient for the maintenance and disassembly of equipment, especially for highly toxic and inflammable chemical products. The structure can improve the working environment of workers and reduce their labor intensity. The construction period is long.


3. Closed reactor: the closed reactor is suitable for large volume (1000L-50000L) with no pressure limit, which is directly welded between the upper head and the tank body. Since it is closed, manholes need to be opened to facilitate personnel maintenance and replacement of parts in the kettle, and it is difficult to clean materials. Therefore, for the manufacturer, the quality of internal parts (material quality and welding quality) must be strictly guaranteed during the manufacturing process.
