Types and applications of heat exchangers

A heat exchanger is an apparatus for the exchange of various kinds of heat, usually called a heat exchanger or simply a heat exchanger. As a result of the use of different conditions, heat transfer equipment has a variety of forms and structures.


Plate heat exchanger is composed of corrugated sheet and frame. The plate is clamped by bolts between the fixed plate and the movable plate, and many flow channels are formed inside the heat exchanger. Rubber seals are used between the plates.


There is a connection between the device and the outside on the compression plate. The plate is made of high quality corrosion-resistant metal sheet. There are corner holes for the media to enter and exit at the four corners and hanging holes at the top and bottom.


The herringbone ripples can increase the disturbance to the fluid, so that the fluid can reach turbulent state at low speed, and obtain high heat transfer effect. A special structure is adopted to ensure that the two fluid media will not leak in series.
