Tube-tube heat exchanger water leak test method is different

As a type of heat exchanger commonly used in chemical industry, tube heat exchangers have different application ranges depending on the materials used. They are widely used in chemical, light industry, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, food and other industries. Obviously, its small footprint has non-toxicity, no scaling and other characteristics, users should choose according to the actual situation when choosing the purchase.


Traditionally, we use water to test the heat exchanger, which is to inject water into the heat exchanger. After filling the water, we use a water pump to pressurize the water in the heat exchanger to achieve a fixed pressure and heat exchange. Check for leaks. After the leak is finished, mark and release the pressure and drain, and then stop the leak. If the heat exchanger is large and the leakage is serious, the water pressure will leak when it is low. It should be drained and drained. After the plugging is completed, the water will be filled and the pressure will be tested. The heat exchanger will be repaired repeatedly.


However, the column heat exchanger column requires a large amount of time due to water filling and pressing. When the leaked part needs to be repaired by dynamic fire, the leaking part should be dried, otherwise the quality of the repair welding leakage will be affected. If there is flammable medium in the leaking heat exchanger, it must be replaced by nitrogen. After passing the test, it can be fired and repaired.
