Structure of spiral plate heat exchanger

The structure of non-detachable spiral plate heat exchanger is simple, and both ends of the spiral channel are soldered. Detachable spiral plate heat exchanger, with the exception of the sealing structure at both ends of the spiral channel, the other is completely the same as the non-detachable type. For mechanical cleaning purposes, a detachable spiral channel with one end open is sealed with a flat cover and gasket to prevent fluid leakage into the atmosphere or short-circuiting within the same channel. In order to improve the bearing capacity of the spiral plate, the distance between plates is supported by columns. There are two kinds of fluid inlet and outlet on the cylinder: normal nozzles and tangential nozzles. Tangential pipe is commonly used in China. It has low fluid resistance and impurities are easy to be flushed out. The use of rotary support is more convenient, can make the heat exchanger vertical or horizontal. Fluids A and B of heat transfer flow through both sides of the spiral plate respectively. One of the fluids flows from the outer side to the central outlet along the spiral channel. The other fluid flows inward and outward along a spiral passage from the center. The two fluids flow in a pure countercurrent fashion. The maximum size of spiral plate heat exchanger is 1800 mm wide, 1700 mm outside diameter, 250 m heat transfer area, 20 mm distance between plates. Maximum operating pressure allowed up to 2.5 mpa. The operating temperature is determined by the selected materials, most of which are carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and titanium.
