Reaction kettle quickly obtain high temperature operation method

When conducting chemical and chemical reactions, the high-temperature reactor needs to work under high temperature conditions. According to different properties of the reactor, there are also a variety of heating methods, such as water heating, hot steam heating, other media heating, electric heating and so on.


1. Water heating: it can be used when the temperature is not high. The heating system can be divided into open type and closed type. The open type is the simplest, which is composed of circulating pump, water tank, pipe and regulator of control valve. When high pressure water is used, the mechanical strength of the equipment is required to be high, and the snake pipe is welded on the outside surface of the reactor. There is a gap between the snake pipe and the reactor wall, resulting in increased thermal resistance and decreased heat transfer effect of the reactor.


2. Hot steam heating: When the heating temperature of the reactor is below 100℃, the steam below one atmosphere can be used for heating; Saturated steam is used in the range of 100~180℃. When the reactor temperature is higher, high pressure superheated steam can be used.


3, the reactor with other medium heating: if the process requires the reactor must be operated at high temperature, or to avoid the use of high pressure heating system, other media can be used to replace water and steam, such as mineral oil (275~300℃), diphenyl ether mixture (boiling point 258℃), molten salt (140~540℃), liquid lead (melting point 327℃).


4. Electric heating of the new type of reactor: the resistance wire is wound on the insulation layer of the reactor cylinder or installed on the special insulator at a certain distance from the reactor, so a small space gap is formed between the resistance wire and the reactor body. In order to obtain high temperature by using the first three methods, a jacket should be added on the kettle body. Because of the large range of temperature change, the jacket and shell of the kettle will bear temperature change and thus generate thermo-stress. Using electric heating, the equipment is light and simple, the temperature is easy to adjust, at the same time do not pump, furnace, chimney and other facilities.
