Principle of selection of discharge valve for chemical reactor

For large-volume chemical reactors, sometimes it is required to add a valve at the bottom of the tank to facilitate the discharge or reduce the number of opening times, so that the material can be discharged from the bottom. For the user, the choice of the form of the valve is very important, because if the selected valve does not match the characteristics of the reaction material, the valve damage will often occur or there will be more residual material in the autoclave, so pay special attention when selecting the valve.


Ball valves are mainly used in chemical reactors of solid materials, such as powders, pellets, etc., depending on the state of the material used for discharge. If the temperature of the material is too high, the bottom ball valve of steel PTFE can also be used. The ball valve is stepped downwards. When the valve material is opened, it is directly discharged into the pipeline. There is no dead angle and it will not be closed like the enamel bottom valve. The gap between the rear ball and the lower bolt will leave material and produce impurities. It will not block the larger materials and is easy to clean.


The spread valve is mainly used for the discharge of liquid materials, and the spread valve can ensure that there is no dead angle for the discharge. According to the different conditions of the bottom of the chemical reactor, the valve is divided into the upper and lower exhibition. When the valve is opened, the valve is operated inside the valve body, and the valve body is in the valve body and the tank. The movements are both under the exhibition.
