Principle of calcification reaction in the reactor
Oct 19, 2020

Calcium reactors release carbon dioxide in their reactors to dissolve calcium source material. The result is a calcium supplement to help your tanks, corrals and other aquarium livestock thrive. However, using a calcium reactor can be a dangerous activity if not done well. Carbon dioxide is colorless and odorless, so it can be dangerous if no fresh oxygen is released into the air in a confined space. Therefore, when dealing with carbon dioxide containers, keep a window open nearby, keep a distance from the radiator and other heat sources, and use all safety precautions when handling containers.

Now that you have safely used the CO2 container, the next step is to assemble the calcium reactor, which varies depending on the manufacturer, model, and the feed pump and valve you choose to use. Because there are so many types of surveys these won't take place in this article. Do your research on different types of reactors and choose one that suits you right. This also applies to the need to be tight enough for valves, pump pipes, which come in different shapes and sizes.

You want to feel comfortable with your design. Now that the stainless steel reactor is set up and ready to go, the next stage is to set the low set co2 bubble count. Manufacturers would advise their reactor Settings that you should follow the guidelines for your own products. The second step is to adjust the PH to set the correct calcium solution for your drawing. You are going to set the PH between 6.5 and 6.7 for good results, check the sewage flow with the PH meter, and then make adjustments to allow for changes between hours, check if the PH is between 6.5 and 6.7.

Continue this process until you have successfully changed the PH of the reactor to the correct level. Next, use your alkalinity test suite to see if the reactor has successfully replaced the calcium used by livestock. It is important to know your normal alkalinity so that you can adjust the treatment loop in the reactor to ensure that you are not higher or lower than your normal level for the safety and well-being of livestock is. Once you are satisfied that your reactor has restored the calcium ion level in the tank, you do so. Check your alkalinity levels every few weeks to make sure more calcium supplements are necessary.
