Different materials of tube heat exchangers and their product advantages

The tube heat exchanger is different from other heat exchange equipment. It is mainly composed of a shell, a heat transfer tube bundle, a tube plate, a baffle plate, and a tube box. The shell of the heat exchanger is generally cylindrical. The inner part is equipped with a heat transfer tube bundle, and both ends of the tube bundle are fixed on the tube sheet, thus forming a complete heat exchange device.


Tube heat exchanger heat transfer fluid is divided into two kinds of hot and cold, according to the flow position is called the tube-side fluid, shell-side fluid. In order to effectively improve the heat transfer coefficient of the shell-side fluid of the tube heat exchanger, several baffles are generally installed in the shell, and the velocity of the shell-side fluid is increased at the same time, and the fluid is traversed through the tube bundle several times to increase the degree of fluid turbulence.


In addition to the structure, the conduction heat efficiency of the tubular heat exchanger is also related to its material. There are two types of equipment: metallic and non-metallic. The former includes stainless steel, common brass, industrial pure copper, etc. It covers ceramics, glass, PTFE, and graphite.


In contrast, the non-metallic material of the tube heat exchanger has the smallest heat transfer coefficient, followed by the stainless steel tube heat exchanger, the ordinary brass tube heat exchanger, and the industrial pure copper tube heat exchanger. The heat transfer coefficient gradually increases and the heat exchange capacity gradually increases.


In addition to the high heat transfer coefficient, the tube heat exchangers are compact in structure and greatly reduce the floor space, which helps to save material and space. Moreover, due to the special concave-convex structure of the threaded tube, multi-layers are generated inside and outside the tube. The rotating scouring action, coupled with the hot stretch and shrinkage of the tube, does not retain impurities inside and outside the tube wall.


In addition, the tube heat exchanger is also not easy to leak, easy to install, mandatory supervision inspection, reliable quality, the majority of users can be completely assured of use, and to ensure a satisfactory heat transfer effect.
