Application scope and production process of all welded plate heat exchanger

Plate heat exchanger is a kind of efficient and compact heat exchange equipment, because of its many advantages such as high heat transfer coefficient, small pressure loss, compact structure and convenient maintenance. It also follows the improvement of structure and the advancement of large-scale production skills. The use of heat exchangers has received increasing attention.


In order to improve the operating temperature and pressure of the plate heat exchanger, expand its application range, develop, manufacture and use a variety of welded plate heat exchangers. These welded plate heat exchangers are now increasingly used in the heating, cooling, condensation, transpiration and heat recovery processes of the chemical, petroleum, power, and metallurgical industries.


The plate material of the all-welded plate heat exchanger is generally austenitic stainless steel, as well as nickel-based alloy and industrial pure titanium. The material only needs to have the weldability and stamping function of the base, which can be used to make the plate components. The thickness of the sheet is generally 0.4 to 1.0 mm.


The individual plates are welded to each other by a pair of wings, and the plates are interwoven and welded. This common structure allows the heat transfer plates to be welded to the other side of the fluid to form a passage for another fluid. Therefore, the plurality of bundles are connected by welding to form two fluid passages, that is, the inter-plate flow passage and the inter-tube flow passage constitute a core structure of the all-welded plate heat
